A Lunchroom Makeover at Garinger High School

We recently hd the opportunity to work with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to create a custom wall mural for Garinger High School. Garinger is the first of over 170 CMS schools to adopt a new Express Lunch program. Students are now able to pre-order their school lunches right from an app on their phone. Those orders are then processed and pre-made by the culinary team at Garinger, allowing students to pick up their lunches in record time! The get this off the ground, an area of the lunch room that had once served as the dish washing unit was re-purposed for the Express Lunch lanes.  Conceptually, the customer was looking to incorporate a cityscape and food truck mural in the Express Lunch area.  The food truck graphics would be built around a pre-existing service window, now serving as the pick-up window for the lunches. Our design team worked closely with the client to understand their needs and bring those ideas to life.  Once everything was approved, our production team printed, laminated and cut over 430 square feet of gloss vinyl.  And our installation team did a fantastic job putting the finishing touches on the project and bringing it all to life. From conception to completion, this was a fun project to work on.  To see the appreciation and enjoyment on the students’ faces made was very rewarding! Thank you to the team at Garinger High School and congratulations on the inception of the Express Lunch program. To see how the project unfolded, check out the video below. No project is too big or too small for AlphaGraphics South Charlotte. Get a custom quote today! Garinger High School
