Turning 50 Can Be Fun!
Jane D., one of our long time friends and customers, wanted to do something very special to celebrate her husband Steve's 50th birthday. Boy, did she ever!
Close to 100 family and friends gathered at the
57th Fighter Group Restaurant, a WWII aviation themed restaurant located
AT the Peachtree-Dekalb Municipal Airport near Atlanta. One of the stars of the show was her birthday present to him -- a 2015 Porsche 911 Targa! Family were there of course -- including mom, brothers and sister -- and even some college baseball team mates.
To mark this event, she hired an illustrator to draw Steve posed in front of the car. From this illustration, we printed all kinds of party decorations featuring either Steve's portrait or just his head. The theme for the party was Steve's head, as in "Heads Up! Guess Who's Turning 50?" And! Bless this illustrator's heart, she provided us with vector art!
In addition to the invitations, we printed napkins (2 sizes), cards that Jane used in the centerpiece decorations, and a lovely 36 X 48 Canvas Gallery Wrap of the commissioned illustration. And just so all possibilities were covered, we printed rolls of toilet tissue for the restroom!
