Frozen Custard and First Impressions

We've all heard the saying "You never get a second chance to make a first impression!" It really is true. It is becoming increasingly common to have your first introduction to a customer made through a  mobile device as usage increases, and therefore increasingly important to make sure that your introduction leaves a good impression. As an example, I will pick on one of my favorite places in the world. Ted Drewe's Frozen Custard in St. Louis, Mo. The best frozen custard in the world. Well, the best that I've had anyways (and I've had alot). The problem is, if you've never been there and you wanted to use your mobile phone to get the info you're out of luck. To be honest, this is probably better for your health but it is surely not an outcome that Mr. Drewe would want. If you want to see why, just scan that QR code there or navigate to www.teddrewes.com on your phone. Quick, when do they close? Where are they? What flavors do they serve? Can you call them easily? In contrast, scan that QR there and look at Martie's Site. You can get to our main site, find out a little about our services, even call or e-mail her quickly. We can even add a map and put in a video if we want. WAY easier to see. A lot less of that pinch-and-zoom.  Now, if you happen to know someone at Ted Drewe's give me a holler, I'm pretty sure we can arrange something that will benefit both of us.
