August 1, 2019 was the kick-off event to start providing food for children that may not have a meal because they normally receive those meals during school. With Summer ending there is still a need to fill Urban Ministries Pantry and receive donations, both in non perishables and monetary. The need is still there.
A $20 dollar donation feeds one family for a week because of Urban Ministries buying power. So if you don't have any canned goods, or cereal (preferred) then

Urban Ministries of Wake County operates the largest client-choice food pantry in the county, serving more than 50 families each week day and more than 30,000 people.
