AlphaGraphics Chicago North was happy to help our friends at Maplewood Brewery print and finish a scrim vinyl banner for their Pulaski Day event at their Tap Room earlier this month. The all day event honored General Casimir Pulaski, the first Commander of the American Cavalry and a Brigadier General of the American Revolutionary War. While Pulaski Day is honored on the first Monday of March nationally, it holds significant meaning particularly in Chicago, because of the city’s high Polish American demographic. Local schools, libraries, and other government offices are closed in observance of the holiday.
The three and a half foot by eight and a half foot banner was printed on thirteen ounce scrim vinyl banner material and then finished with hemming and corner grommets. It was ordered with customer supplied artwork sized to print with an appropriate bleed added past the finish size, and AlphaGraphics Chicago North was able to do the rest. The banner was printed on our Hewlitt Packer 570 large format roll printer. Production was complete within three days of placing the order. The scrim banner was produced with conjunction with other digital print items requested by Maplewood Brewery to make their Pulaski Day themed event a success.
Scrim banners hold up well against the elements and are durable enough to withstand the outdoors. If you have an event you would like to promote, these make a great visual piece to help get the word out for your event. With custom sizing available, you can design as large or small a vinyl banner as you wish, or you can even have us do the design per your specifications right here in Chicago.
