50th Anniversary, 50 years of history!

Started in Tucson, Arizona in 1970, AlphaGraphics has reached a milestone . . . our 50th Anniversary! Noting like a hometown kid doing good, in a very competitive industry, AlphaGraphics has not only survived for 50 years, but thrived. Imagine the technological changes that have completely turned the printed page from analog, to digital and more. It was not until 1985. that desktop publishing was introduced. When Apple computer introduced the first laser printer, AlphaGraphics was one of the first print providers to embrace desktop publishing. We soon realized that even a resolution of 300 dpi (not as crisp by today's standards). Customers loved being able to create on-the-fly and update printed materials in minutes, not days. Desktop publishing really moved the needle when it came to turn time and making quick turn printing look professional. Today, we don't even this twice about generating last minute changes, or creating multiple versions of electronic documents that are then digitally printed in minutes. Long gone are the days of weeks long production cycles and outdated printed products. Thru the years, AlphaGraphics has kept on the cutting edge of change and technology. Our clients upload or email us PDF files, or use custom created web portals to customized printed product in seconds. Now we commonly print very high quality full color products on almost any size or style. From custom, variable data personalized digital printing, with full vivid color, on unique card stock, to spot foil stamping, die cutting, and more, AlphaGraphics has moved from a small startup company to a chain of high-tech printshop numbering over 250 locations.
