I recently convinced a good friend of mine who owns his own business to do a little advertising.
Combes Decorating, in Rocky River, has been doing great work since 1988. It never really occurred to the owner, Russ Combes, to let people know what he does. His reputation is so good, most if not all of his work is from referrals.
After months of Russ stalling, I finally told him I would make him a
lawn sign, stick it in his front yard, and let me know if he liked it.
He did. And it's a pretty nice way of letting people know what you do.
